    Article summary

With sort groups, you can sort your recommendations into categories based on the ratings stored in the CSV file.

    • + Add Sort Group: Create new Sort Group.

    • Sort group label: Name of the group on the result page.

    • Sort group description: Description of the sort group. Currently, this information is not displayed on the result page, but is transmitted via an interface (API). This function helps you if you are using your own front end.

    • Meta name: The meta name is a technical name and is created automatically by the platform.

    • Product attribute: The column of the input CSV file according to which you want to sort the information / numerical values.

    • Sort function (ASC or DSC): Ascending or descending order in which the products are recommended. The sequence is based on the values defined in the CSV file. These are stored in separate columns: By entering 1 or 0 as values, you control whether the products should be displayed (1) or not (0). If you enter consecutive numbers (e.g. 1-5), this will affect the order.

    • Maximum shown: Maximum number of products in the sort group that is expanded when the result page loads. Maximum shown therefore defines how many of the products specified for Maximum loaded will be displayed in full size (i.e. in an expanded state).

    • Maximum loaded: Maximum number of products that can be loaded in total. Example: If Maximum shown is 5 and Maximum loaded is 10, 5 products are initially displayed in full size. The user can then click to view 5 more products at full size, for a total of 10 products.

    • Threshold: From this value onward, all products containing at least this value in the corresponding column of the product file (CSV) will be displayed in the sort group.

    • Unique priority: This field works together with the option Recommendations can only appear in one sort group, which can be found in the Result Page tab. In principle, you can assign several sort groups to each product. However, if the option is activated, each recommendation will only appear in one sort group on the result page.

To determine which sort group should be preferred, enter an integer for each sort group in the field Unique Priority. The priorities are ordered by ascending numbers, whereby a lower number means a higher priority.

Example: If a product is assigned to several sort groups and you enter the numerical value for each sort group as follows: sort group A: 1, sort group B: 2, sort group C: 3, then the product is displayed in sort group A, as 1 is the lowest number.

    • Display according to input expression: Controls which user inputs trigger the display of the sort group.

    • Display according to embed expression: Controls which embed parameters trigger the display of the sort group.

    • Delete: Deletes the sort group.
