    Article summary

After the user has gone through the selector, the results page is displayed. From there, they will be taken to the contact page / contact form. There are three types of contact form:

    • Freely configurable (standard contact form)

    • Customized

    • Widget

If you do not yet use a contact form, you can create your own with the standard contact form - this is integrated directly into the contact page. If you have already created an internal company contact form, you can embed it in the contact page via URL. If you have programmed a contact form, you can embed this as a widget in the contact page.

Standard contact form (Default Contact Form)

You can create a standard contact form under the menu item Form Page > Add Form Page . You can use various contact form fields to request the contact information of your prospective customers. You have several design options for this. An overview of the individual fields can be found below in the section Add form fields.

Configuring the contact form (Form Page Configuration)

Firstly, define the title of the page and the name of the button with which the contact form is sent.

The user interface looks as follows:

    1. Meta name: Name of the contact form in the workbench.

    2. Url Endpoint *:

    3. Form page title: Title of the contact form page

    4. Send button label: The label for the "Send" button

    5. Form page top text: Text above the contact form (optional)

    6. Form page bottom text: Text below the contact form (optional)

To add new fields to the contact form in the second step, click on the button Add Form Field and select the desired field. As with the questionnaire, different input field types can be used here.

The following input options are available:

    • Text Field: Select this option to enter a single line of text, for example your name, email address or telephone number.

    • Text area: Select this option for longer, free text input, for example for a comment field.

    • Checkbox: A checkbox can be labelled, assigned a value to be transmitted and set as mandatory or optional.

    • Hidden: In a hidden field, you can transmit information via Input Name and Input Value when sending the contact form, which should not be displayed to the customer when filling in the form.

    • Dropdown: The customer can choose from several input options. You can create the dropdown list via Configure Value List. The following example explains how to create the value list.

    Example: Configure Dropdown

    1. Language: If you use the selector in several languages, you can choose the language to enter different field titles and values.

    2. Label & Value: You can use the configuration of the input value list to enter the various input options (labels) and store a value that is to be transmitted with the input.

    3. Add list item: Add new dropdown entries.

    4. File: You can also make this assignment by uploading a two-column CSV file.

    5. Cancel & Save: Finally, save or discard your changes.

    Add form fields (Form Fields)

The form fields are freely configurable.

The user interface of the form fields looks as follows

    1. Add Form Field: Add another contact form field.

    2. Drag-and-drop: Change the order of the fields in the contact form using drag-and-drop.

    3. Type of Form Field: There are different types of fields in the contact form. The form field type used is displayed.

    3. Input label: Labelling of the input field in the contact form.

    4. Input value: A value entered here is transmitted together with the input name when the form is sent and can also be relevant for the lead control .

    5. Input Explanation Top: Explanation text above the input field (optional).

    6. Input Explanation Bottom: Explanation text below the input field (optional).

    7. Required: Fields can be mandatory (required) or optional for the customer. Mandatory fields are automatically marked with an asterisk in the selector.

    8. Delete: Remove open form field.
