    Article summary

To set an incompatibility, carry out the following steps:

    1. Open the Incompatibilities area in the workbench.

    2. Click on New group.

    3. In the pop-up, select the answers that should not be selectable at the same time and confirm with Accept.

💡 All answers in a group are incompatible with each other

Please note that all answers that you combine in a group cannot be selected at the same time. For example, if you want to ensure that A and B and A and C are not compatible with each other, do NOT add the options A, B and C to a group. The result is that B and C are also incompatible with each other. Configure two groups instead. Activate A and B in the first, A and C in the second.

    Example: Incompatibilities

The gif shows the configuration of a mismatch between the answer Interior from question 1 and the answer Facade from question 2.

If the selector user chooses the answer Interior in question 1, the answer Facade in question 2 is grayed out and can no longer be clicked on.

Gray out incompatible answers in checkboxes

If the answers to a question of the checkbox type are incompatible, the user cannot select the answers at the same time, as in the example of the answers black and white:

It is also possible to display the incompatibility within a checkbox by graying out the answers:

For this variant, carry out the following steps:

    1. Open the Questionnaire area in the workbench and click on New page.

    2. Open the question page and select the Checkboxes option on the right under Type.

    3. Activate the Disable Selection on Incompatibilities toggle.

    4. Enter the question and answer options.

    5. Switch to the Incompatibilities section and click on New group.

    6. In the pop-up, select those answers from the checkbox question that should not be selectable at the same time and confirm with Accept.
