Function of the Algorithm section

The algorithm is used to determine the recommendation logic. When setting up the Selector, you first decide which recommendation logic is suitable for your use case.

We differentiate between matrix, filter and item list logic. A combination of matrix and filter logic can also be selected.

In addition to determining the recommendation logic, the algorithm defines the number of recommendations displayed on the results page, as well as a possible post processor code for individual calculations and logic.

The algorithm also defines if certain user inputs are to be displayed on the results page in addition to the recommendations.
